    Rob Lau

    Rob is a freelance cinematographer and editor. He is co-founder and visual director at IN MEDIAS REZ. 
     
    Drawn to telling stories that celebrate authenticity and have the potential to disrupt the status quo, he creates stories that point to the future of our humanity by celebrating the cultural wisdom of our past.

      Having studied Human Ecology in Bar Harbor, Maine, and filmed documentaries in Japan, Nepal, and Morocco he is currently based out of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. His work explores themes of place-based education, Hawaiian culture, and community art.
